I can’t believe it, but I managed to get 100 fans on here before X-Mas. Someway, somehow, it got there when it feels like not too long ago that I got to 50. Didn’t really plan on making anything at the moment to celebrate, so I hope the Astro Bot pic is enough (I owe you a sketch, Finasty).

Just like the last two times, I’d like to congratulate those who’ve made commissions and requests for me since then 69 fans milestone last time. Not much since then, but those being:

@GearToward, @DICExMICE, @MichiKunn, @SuperVGBoy, @KiugaVanHollow, @UrnSudden, and @FireNerd. There’s also @3ct0plasma, who I haven’t commissioned yet but want to. And @LuciidDreamerz, he’s a cool guy who doesn’t have a lot of fans (he needs some love).

So, I’ve been thinking about something. I still have two OCs left to refresh and post, but the holidays are coming up soon. Thought about whether I should push myself to get them done in time, or take it easy for the holidays. I’ve settled on doing the latter, since it’s so close to the end of the year, and I’m not sure what the family has planned. Sorry if I don’t have any more to give for the month (except maybe one more little thing). And yeah, it looks like I won’t be able to get to 100 fans until January. (Got close this year, but not quite. Sorry Finasty.) I’ll still be on the forums, so I won’t be gone. Just taking a winter break is all.

Sorry if I feel like I’m down today, but I’ve been having this feeling I need to get off my chest. Sometimes I wonder to myself “am I doing a good enough job here?” Because I look back at everything I’ve done in the past few months, and see a lot happen. Some good, some not so good, more than I really thought I needed. Am I trying too hard, or not hard enough?

It’s just tough living the life I do, with family issues that creep up on me. Between growing up in a house of a half dozen kids, being the second oldest with its own responsibility. To having health problems like arthritis and depression, which are not easy to fix. And having parents who don’t love each other, to the point of getting divorced. I’ve been through a lot before I came here, and I still am from time to time.

Being on Newgrounds has helped me through all these feelings, and I’m glad I could make some friends here who like me with all my problems. I’m also thankful for all the fans I have, which again I didn’t expect to have so many. I still feel like I wanna keep going, but I’m never sure how much harder I need to keep trying. I hope you all understand how I feel.

Happy Turkey Day everybody! Just showing a photo of what I’m making for dinner today. Nothing much, just a pot of slow cooked cream corn. And right below is the full plate of food. A classic thanksgiving meal right there, with a few oddities.

So, a random question’s been popped into my head. Bit of a stupid one, but: Say you’re running late for something and you just got out of the shower. You’ve already put on your underwear (briefs, bras, socks, etc.), but you only got time to put on one more thing. Do you put on your shirt or your pants?

Managed to save up enough money today for a new iPad. Not many people know that I make art on them, or that I use ibisPantX. This one’s a slightly newer model than the last one, with 64GB and better power output. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get some good use out of this one, cause my other iPad is close to breaking down.

Today officially marks the 6 month anniversary of my channel. Quite a lot’s happened since then and now. 80+ fans, Level 13 voting power, 40 OCs published (with Isaac being my most popular at 600 views, wow), and over a hundred commissions I’ve gotten (which in hindsight I didn’t need to get that much). I’m not even sure where I’ll be in another six months from now, but I’m thankful for everything that’s been done so far. Also, I’ve opened a Bluesky which I’ll be updating shortly. I wonder what’s next for me?

Welp, it’s snowing up here in PotatoLand. Which means seasonal depression’s gonna kick in. You think this is a sign that it’s about time I slow down and unwind for the holidays?
